Because of the flight change I had made, it seems my request for a veggie meal didn't make it to the new reservation. Not a problem. I learned long ago never to rely on other people's concepts of what consitutes vegetarian dining for my sustenance. So, I had brought a slew of vegan fuit bars, chips and fruit with me.

I didn't eat much, actually, just a bar, an apple, and lots of water. The flight attendants were quite helpful and stocked me up with a half-dozen bottles of water during the course of the flight.

"More water, Mr. Goodridge?"

I land in Tokyo Narita airport at 4:50 local time on Feb 22.

Had about a 20-minute stay in Japan as I sped through customs to catch my 3 1/2 hour flight to Saipan.
