The Passion Prophet's Goal-Achieving Secret
Up at 5:00am today (Saturday). Recently took a Scientology course called the Dynamics of Money and also read one of the handbooks on Target's and Goals. The information is phenomenal. As I was telling one of my coaching clients yesterday, goal-achieving has taken on a new dimension for me as a result of that little book.
(I was introduced to the course material Scientology offers through a millionaire friend of mine and developed a respect for the effectiveness of their information by watching the careers of John Travolta, Tom Cruise, and other celebrities who've been able to use it to turn their lives around.)
Prior to this, whenever I set about accomplishing a new project, I would brainstorm the tasks necessary for completion and end up with a humungous list of things to do. I would arrange the list in categories I thought made sense, and then set about doing them.
I would get things done, but I always felt I wasn't moving as quickly as I'd like to. (That might be a generic passionpreneurial character trait, but nonetheless, I felt something was still missing)
Now I have a structure along with the understanding of it that introduces some new concepts,
and logic that is propelling me forward in about 12 different Tactical Plans that comprise my Strategic Plan. I can now put those thousand different tasks in their appropriate sections so that they make sense.
It may seem basic, but just having a structure for turning entrepreneurial and work-at-home dreams into reality is making all the difference.
I was so impressed with the technology, that I incorporated it into an email course that's now available on the www.passionprofit.com site
